Thousands of wells across Haiti have been critically damaged due to the earthquake. Without clean water, it’s next to impossible for these communities to get back on their feet. Haitians often spend numerous hours each day in search of water which, when finally found, is usually extremely dirty and full of various diseases. Our desire is to repair these broken wells, thus enabling access to clean water sources for local Haitian communities. These repairs will aid communities in making great progress as they pursue long-term renewal. HELP is partnering with Living Water International to coordinate well repairs in the area. LWI has a strong presence in Haiti and has been working to meet the immediate needs of Haitian men and women across the country.
